Firefox and Internet Explorer

I have a layout problem with the Magazine Theme in Internet Explorer but the strange thing is that it seems to have somthing to do with the webserver. I have just changed the colors and graphic, I think:

http://www.dreifmennt.com/demo/. Everything work perfectly in diferent browsers
http://vefir.hi.is/smidja. Ok with Firefox exept a light border at the top, above the header. On the other hand, in Intrenet Explorer the layout does not work. The content is not centered and the drop down page menu does not work.
