FCG Errors

I can't get featured content gallery to work on this theme. I have had it working on client's websites in the past but trying to use it today, I get this error on the homepage.

I know there is another plug in here developed by one of the designers here but when I tried it, I found it too complicated and not so helpful instructions to a beginner. Please help if you could
