Question OK to Remove RSS/Atom Feed Code?

I've created a very simple photo portfolio site using a pared-down version of Streamline. The site is only three pages. Two pages basically contain only a header, a nav menu, a flash slideshow, and a simple footer containing copyright info. The third page contains — instead of a flash slideshow — a contact form.

Since this site is not a blog and will not change very often, I decided to remove the RSS/ATOM code from the header.

Are there any WordPress-related or other types of problem with removing the RSS/Atom code? Are there any possibly unwanted consequences of removing the feed code, aside from simply not providing a feed feature to visitors?

Thanks for any feedback.

Deb
