Serenity theme menu function in Agent theme

I have had a look thru the Serenity theme files etc. and cannot find anything that is an obvious answer...

How difficult is it and where can I locate code etc. in Serinity theme which controls the motion of the drop down menus....I like the smooth transition and would like to give this a shot.
