Home Page Features Show On Blog Page

I know that the featured items on the home page show up as posts. I'm actually using them to point to regular content pages. I've just created a separate blog page and would like to start with a blank slate. Is there any way to inhibit the feature posts from the blog page? Here's the site if you need to see it:
