Changed to Regular Blog - No NEXT option now

I am having issues with thumbnails so I thought an easy fix would be to change it to a regular blog, which actually was exactly what I wanted anyways. Once I renamed the home.php to homeold.php it worked perfectly. The only issue I am having (besides the stupid thumbnail issue) is you can not see more than 10 posts, there is no option at the bottom to select More or Next. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?
