Header won't center

I recently moved from Lifestyle theme (that someone else initially created) to the Executive Theme.

However, when I replace the header to have our logo on top, it's flushing it to the left. However, if I open up my window all the way (excuse my terminology), my blue banner goes across the entire page but everything else is flushed left.

Is there a way to put a border or something around all homepage to keep it all packaged nice and tight?
