Hi,

I am trying to insert an author image into posts on the top left of each post, i have researched that i need to insert this line of code to fetch the gravatar image

<?php
echo get_avatar( get_the_author_id(), $size = '40', $default = 'PATH TO URL' );
?>

but it needs to be inserted into 'single.php' but thats not in magazine theme editor, any ideas where i would need to add this code to display an authors/contributors gravatar on the top left or bottom left of the post? any help would be massively helpful
