Recent Comments and Thumbnails

hi
im a newbie and just installed revolution media pro theme after a very hard struggle
but i facing 2 problems now.

1- getting this error on Recent Comments section.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_recent_comments() in /home1/oneonetr/public_html/web/wp-content/themes/revolution/sidebar_post.php on line 38

2- thumbnail pictures is not showing in main page , i jst installed theme it shud show some pic which was already on theme's folder

help wud be much appereciated.
