Will Church Be Released as a Genesis Child?

Hi,

I am running an older version of Church and am due to upgrade to the newest version. I have a fair amount of template tweaks and before I invest the time in upgrading does anybody know if Church will be offered as a Genesis child theme in the future? If so, anybody know a time line...
