Embedded Video Doesn't Show Up on XP Laptaop

This is a question about the failure of embededed video to appear and play properly on a WordPress blog when the blog is viewed from a laptop computer using Windows XP. The embedded video is appearing properly on other computers. I can't tell if this problem is related to WordPress, the theme, or Windows XP. Therefore I am posting this in the general forum.

I am posting this question here just in case there is an outside chance that someone on the forum has any knowledge of this issue.

It happens that the blog in question is using the StudioPress Magazine theme and WordPress 2.9.2.

The same embedded videos presented on my WordPress blog show up fine and play fine when I use my desktop computers that have Windows Vista and on one desktop computer that uses an updated version of Windows XP.

I don't know if this problem has something to do with WordPress and/or the version of XP that is on my laptop

Why I am albe to watch exactly the same videos on Youtube but not on my WordPress blog usiig the same XP laptop computer and Firefox 2.6 is something of a mystery.

If anyone has an idea of why this may be happening and how to fix it, please let me know. Your help would be much appreciated.
