Max Text 6 lines limit

On the main page under the photo display we have thumnails and 6 lines of text, they click here [Read more about this property...] and takes them to the main post.

My question is how i can make sure that the text does not repeat again in the main post (duplicate) ,it continues where it left off in the main page to the post.
