Category layout and thumbnails

Hi - hoping you can help me.

Is there a way if you go to a category page that the thumbnails appear left of the text instead of above. I would like it to look like the posts on the main page. Thumbnail left with text to right of it...

On category page it goes thumnbail, enter, leave a comment, and then text below.

Please advise.
