Default theme editor gone weird

I went into my theme editor because I was going to add my affiliate link and every page has this code on it:

vti_encoding:SR|utf8-nl
vti_timelastmodified:TR|15 Aug 2009 02:43:13 -0000
vti_extenderversion:SR|5.0.2.4803
vti_cacheddtm:TX|15 Aug 2009 02:43:13 -0000
vti_filesize:IR|1821
vti_backlinkinfo:VX|

instead of the regular codes ( I also just did it on another blog of mine and the pages were full of code...except the file size changes on each page.

my blog is working and the theme is working so don't know what that means!

I just wanted to edit the code and put my affiliate link in. Should I reinstall theme?
thanks
Julie
