Multiple Installations

I hope this question is general enough...I'm not a developer but run a few websites for my business.

I'm going to purchase one the excellent themes I see here. What I'd like to know is whether the license extends to more than one installation (either separate domains or subdirectories of a single domain). If so, how is this accomplished? Would I download the package for each installation individually, and would it then propagate all the required subdirectories, etc. for me?
