Changing size of color band for footer

All,

Thanks in advance for the help - I have added an ad to the bottom of my site (http://dodgerfan.net) and I want to increase the size of the color band for the footer so the widgeted areas and the links at the bottom are all in the lighter blue color.

Can someone tell me what code I need to change to do this and the approximate values I should use?
