Agent Theme v AgentPress Theme confusion

Hi,
I'm confused about having to install and learn and manage Genesis and AgentPress Child themes in order to have the look that is advertised here:

http://www.studiopress.com/demo/agentpress.html

Before I suggest using the above linked design to a client, can someone tell me if I can just install it and be done, or do I HAVE to use the Genesis framework, manage all that, and THEN install a child theme and do that work too?
