Forms Plugin and Password Protection

I have two questions.

1. I need to get a regular form working on the blog. I need to be able to make fields required and to customize it. I was wondering what plugin is best to use for processing this type of form?

2. The site I have up at http://www.powerplayerstv.com needs to have members only section where you have to log in to view special videos and information. I don't want to password protect individual posts, I need an area where people go to login to access information. What is the best solution to this problem?
