Buddypress compatibility?

I got to know about Buddypress about a week ago and I was trying to implement it onto my website. But it doesnt seem to be working at all.

I did try installing 'BuddyPress Template Pack' but that doesnt seem to be helping me completely. The sidebar goes underneath all the main content.

I need help here please.
