News ticker tape plugin

Does anyone know of a good news ticker tape style plugin? I wish to have a news ticker tape on my homepage, where the subnavbar is actually. i want it to be able to scroll some text i specify via dashboard on the homepage. I've found something that's what i was looking for, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/notices/, but the ticker scrolls from the browser edge left to right. i want it to be in a specific location.
