Replace Featured Posts with Shopp Widgets

Hi there
I am using Church Theme 4.0. My site is http://www.mindscriptives.com . I am building an ecommerce site.

I have installed Shopp ecommerce plugin. It has several widgets that I want to display on the main area of the home page in the space used by the theme for featured content post areas instead putting post content there. How would I do this? I do not want to use the sidebar.

I would appreciate any help you could give me. I am a novice and really don't know php, but have managed to follow most of the instructions in other posts when I've need to change things, so more detail is better than less.
