How Do I Change Header Image/Background?

Hi all,

I've created a new header for by blog (www.brownbombshellbeauty.com) and I'm trying to upload it to replace the current one. I have NO clue what I'm doing!

I tried changing the code, and ended up with a black box. I also tried saving the image as header.png and logo.png, as that is what the current image is in the code.

Then, I read online somewhere that the image needs to be uploaded to my FTP, but I am not familiar with FTPs. Someone else set up my blog, so I don't know how or where to access my FTP (I do know Dreamhost is my server).

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
