Homepage Catagories Not Working Properly

So I'm beginning the process of setting up my new blog at http://P90XAtHome.com using this theme and have run into a road block on the homepage catagories.

Here is how I want the page laid out:

#homepageleft = "The Experience" catagory.
#homepageright = "Fitness Blogging" catagory.
#homepagebottom = "Articles" catagory.

It would appear that everything should be set up and organized to lay out the homepage according to the post catagories but if you check the following screencap you''ll see that each of the sections simply display all posts:

What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it?
