Password protection for some content...

Hi there I am wondering if anybody can recommend a plug-in or offer advice to me. My client wants to have some of the content password protected. The sight is temporarily here
while I am working on it http://wordpress.shorelinegreenwaytrail.org/

I am thinking maybe a category that only the Board members can see.....?
Please help.
