Church Theme, Tabber and Internet Explorer

I've been playing with the Church theme recently ( irony would have it that I'm setting up a Church site ).

I've managed to get the Tabber function working within the sidebar, and it seemed to be working fantastically up until I viewed it within Internet Explorer on a PC.

I use Mac OS X and use Safari and Firefox 3.63 and I've also viewed the site on Opera 10.53 and all of these cases the tabbed section in the sidebar works fine. It's IE that seems to have the major issues.

I initially thought it would be a CSS issue, so I've added some code to the css to see if it's an issue with how IE sorts the width of the sidebar, padding and div sections adding _width: 270px; and *width: 270px; to the CSS in order to see if i can force the width of the tabber section but this hasn't had any effect (other than to change the tabber section size in Firefox and Safari).

I'm wondering if people have had similar experiences and if it's a:

a) CSS issue that shouldn't be too hard to fix (and if you have an idea as to what to add to the css in order for IE to like it)

or

b) An issue with IE and conflicting Javascript, being that I have both the Featured Gallery and Tabber running together (and if that may be the case any ways around it?)
