Post object embed disappears in WP 2.9.2

Hello,

I am having an issue where my Youtube object embed is disappearing whenever I publish the post. I have verified that I am on the HTML tab. I have deactivated all of my plug-ins and also tried the default theme, but it still disappears. I am not getting any errors. As far as WP is concerned, it thinks the post is publishing correctly because it then adds a version at the bottom.
