I currently use the Lifestyle theme and enjoy it.
I am interesting in the Genesis Mocha theme but have a couple questions. 1st. In the Demo of the Mocha theme I see it's like a blog with listings of posts. However, I'm interested in having a page be the main page instead. A page that would have a Content Gallery at the top and information below. Is this possible instead of having the blog style? 2nd. I'm interested in making the site allow for e-commerce and memberships and would like to use a paid service called e-store from tips and tricks. Will this work with the Mocha theme - meaning is the XHTML code all good?... the e-store makers suggest premium themes with XHTML to be correct so there are no problems with the plugin. I'm guessing it would be fine as many free plugins work well with Lifestyle, but I just wanted to ask for clarification. 3rd. Is there a way to make a nice footer in the Mocha themes and actually even for the Lifestyle theme? 4th. Some plugins conflict with the Featured Content Gallery used in the Lifestyle theme... is there any other content galleries you suggest to use instead that don't have the recurring problems FCG has with other plugins? 5th. You suggest getting the Gravity Forms for Mocha themes... are there any others you know of that are similar that are offered for free other than DeliciousDays? I don't like that one that much, but am budget conscious right now... all these extra plug-ins that cost add up. 6th. In the Mocha Themes - can the width be altered so the sidebars can be a bit wider? Thank you so much for your time. |
