Default Making a downloadable link to a file

I don't know if this is doable in WordPress or if it's a browser issue. I want to create a link on a WP Page to a file that I would like the user to download, not open. I know you can right click and Save Target As... but I would like it to be automatic when the user clicks on the link.

Any idea how to do this?
