Widget images work on only Home page

Currently, I'm using 2.9.2 right now.... I see the WP updates prompts to go to 3.0 but I don't see the need. I'm not seeing the need really, well, unless you think it may be the cause of the opt-in box problems I'm having:

My Home page widget is an neon green/black opt-in box, upper right corner, widget number 1. Works perfectly.

Problem is: If I go through all other pages e.g Testimonicals, About, Contact in my navi-bar, the opt-in box images disappear. What coding language would differentiate images in the Home page to the reset of the pages?

What do you think causes them to disappear like that?
