How to add image behind Carousel area?

Hello,
I haven't been able to find the image that controls the color behind the carousel navigation on the home page. I would like to repeat an image behind it. How would I go about this?

I was able to replace the secondary page background. But I can't find a similar one that is in use for the home page.
or Maybe, something is happening with the secondarybg.jpg, because it's showing correctly on the secondary page; but nothing is showing up on the home page. Not sure why?
