Category Template -- what am I doing wrong?

After two days of server issues (don't ask) I may have suddenly gone clueless...

I'm making a post category template. Named it category-12.php, where 12 is the category I want this template to apply to.

But the template isn't being seen. What am I doing wrong? Feeling really clueless... :)
