multi-language?

Hi there all,

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about multiple languages. I am making a site for a client that needs both Eng and FR. There are plug-in's out there, but usuallu don't work when combined with a more developed theme. Has anyone out there found of made anything that would provide this need?
