OK, so I've got a site that profiles venues, which are categorised by city. However, the people behind it now want to break this down even further in to type categories (e.g. restaurant, club, day out)
There are 25+ city categories on the site. I don't want to have to add the 3/4 type categories to every single one of the city categories as sub categories, as then I'd end up with hundreds of categories overall! Is there any way on a category page that I can call up posts that are in the category of that page, but that are also in another category? (e.g. my thinking is to set up 1 category each for each of restaurant, club and day out for instance, and then if there's a venue that is a restaurant, I file it in its city category and in the restaurant category. So my page format would be... CATEGORY NAME (e.g. the city category, let's say it's category number 2) FOOD *Display posts in the city category (number 2) that are also in the food category* BARS *Display posts in the city category (number 2) that are also in the bars category* So under each heading, I'd only get the posts that are in both those categories. So under the Food heading, I'd only get venues that are categorised in number 2 city and also categorised in food. How would this be coded? For reference, the site i'm working on is www.theweekendfactory.com Any help is much appreciated. |
