Are session variables acceptable to use in WP/Genesis?
I need to "maintain state" across pages and I typically use session variables to do this. For example, if the end user comes in from a geographic location and I want to display banner ads and other content that is local to that user, I need a way to identify a geographic scope across all the pages he/she accesses. So are session variables good practice for WP/Genesis? Or is there a better way to do this? Thanks. |
