Theme got scaled down

I made a change I found here to add "...more" to the video description area, but then my theme seems to have scaled down. Meaning it is now narrower. Not longer or shorter, but it narrowed on the sides and now the background is showing tiles sideways. Does this make sense?

(I don't have the site up yet, I'm using MAMP to work on it on my laptop.)
