In The Beginning!

I am a total beginner. I have my word press account and name all registered, I have checked out Studio Press and know what I want to buy. My site will be for my activities in film, photography & writing. I am no technician. I also have exiting Blogs and my domain name. Is there one place I can go for a step by step construction plan. If need to i am willing pay someone to put it all together, thanx.
