Staging/Development and Production

Hi,

I am new to WordPress and Genesis so this might be a .

We are planning on using WordPress and the Genesis framework for our new website. What we would like to do is to set it up on two servers, one local that is used for configuration, development, adding content, testing layouts, etc. and one hosted where the live/production site is running. When we are ready to publish selected content and new functionality (plugins, a new theme, new pages, new content on existing pages, etc.) we would like to select and deploy the changed pages, etc. from the local staging environment to the hosted production environment.

I have be searching for a solution to this but I have not be able to find one. Any input and advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
