Creating additional .hpleft and .hpright - NOT WORKING RIGHT

I followed the steps in the tutorial and now i have duplicates that show my most recent updates to different catagories instead of to 2 specific catagories...

the left is supposed to be Rookies and the right is supposed to be Photographers...

Any ideas what I missed or is the tutorial missing a step?
