Ad plug-ins and directory plug-ins

Trying to do a good thing to help charities and two plug-ins I'm using on the site have bugs and no response from the plug-in authors. I liked the WP-125 ad widget but it's not making two columns since their new update yesterday and reinstalling the old one, which worked didn't work. Can anyone suggest a decent one?

Also have a bug with Business Directory for WordPress and that has bugs too, doesn't show phone numbers or addresses. Does anyone know of an alternative plug-in?

Grrrr....sigh!
