I installed Buddypress.
I want to create a profile for myself.
When I go to "sign up" I get a wordpress sign-in page where I am to register my username and email.

Is this what I'm supposed to get with Buddpress?

When I enter the email I want to use it tells me that it's already registered. When I ask that my password be emailed it says that it cannot be mailed and my host provider may have blocked email.

Does it sound like I need to talk to my host? Does all of this sound like the way Buddy press is supposed to work?

Will other visitors to my site also get the wordpress sign-in?
