I had my WP installation at mydomain.com/blog
I finally decided to get rid of my static site at mydomain.com and replace it completely with a WordPress site so I had the brilliant idea to simply move all the files from /blog to mydomain.com/ Well, after realizing that I should have changed the location of the site in WP-Admin Settings before making the move, I put everything back into /blog and made the change and then moved everything back again. Then I realized that all my post photos were still pointing to the /blog/ directory so I found a plugin called searchandreplace that fixed that problem in the database. Now the problem is that my featured gallery on home page is broken and also the navbar link to Home is not working properly once you get off the home page. In other words if you go the the Testimonials page, for instance, or any category page and then click on Home link, it stays on whatever page your on. It's probably a very easy issue to fix, but my brain is jello right now and I could use some assistance. Here is the link to my site... http://tinyurl.com/5nk595 Any ideas how to fix this. [update] well I did figure out how to fix the featured gallery. I had to fix the URL's of the custom value field. But my link issue with the Home page still exists. |
