Adding date to Header instead of Topnavbar

Hi

I got rid of the Topnavbar in order to reduce the space that presents my page. But I would like to add the date on the right side in the header section. I already try adding the code to headerright in header.php but I keep on messing on the layout. I tried to change somethings on the stylesheet but I'm not being successful, I keep on messing with the layout.

I would like the header to be presented exactly like that but adding the Date on the top right without moving the ad banner down.
