Specific category page with only title and thumbnails

Hi all,
I need some help. What I am trying to do is have a category which will have all the band profiles (separate posts in that particular category).

But I don't want the conventional blog look for only that particular 'bands' category. I want thumbnails with the title of the page above the thumbnail and when clicked, goes to the respective post.

Can anyone tell me if that possible?
