News and featured pages

Hello

I'm using the original version of Revoluion because I like the page_news and page_featured look. I'm creating different pages utilizing the news and featured page's. How do I create multiple news and featured pages that allow me to have different information on them? I would appreciate any help you can give.

I found this link for a tutorial but it dosen't take me to the right place.
