NextGen conflict with City Theme?

NextGen conflict with City Theme?

I built a site using this plug-in and a different theme. I changed the theme to the City Theme. Now when I try to add a gallery in a post, the window, which previously popped up as an overlay, then returned to the post when you clicked on "save changes", now comes up in a separate window and does nothing when you click on "save changes". I've removed the plug-in, reinstallled and reactivated it, but nothing changes. The only change I made to the site was the theme.
