Multiple blogs using same theme?

Hi,

I would like something exactly like or close to this sites setup:

http://thehundreds.com/
http://thehundreds.com/thefeed-blog/
http://thehundreds.com/rob they go on and have about 8 other "blogs" under thehundreds.com domain.

I was wondering if this is the best option to do this?

I'm not certain I will be using StudioPress at this point...I may look to a real simple theme, or one of the simple child themes with genesis.
