Need To Add Images To Category/Archive Page

I would like to put clickable images in the category page. For example when someone clicks on the category "Canon Digital Video Camera" on my website, I would like to

1. show a clickable image right aligned next to each post and not just show the list of posts in that particular category.

2. I would also like to get rid of the tag lines between the posts as well and what categories these particular posts are listed under.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
