Dates on posts disappear after Genesis 1.4 upgrade

I just upgraded to Genesis 1.4 this morning and on my main page, where I used to see the dates on my posts, I just see a calendar icon with a white box next to it. When I select the white box I can see that the text is still there but it's white text on a white background. How do I fix this?
