How do I remove the featured category tabs?

Hello,

I would like to learn how to remove the featured category tabs, and how to get the image at the top of my posts to show up in the excerpt as you see at http://www.MarketMe.com.

One more thing...I just saw this. How do you enlarge the font of all image captions as you see at http://www.terrydean.org/royalty-free-photos-and-videos?
