Page vs Post and Linking

Hello all,

I am creating quite a large site and I had a quick question on linking.

Can I create pages or posts and not have them appear anywhere unless you click a link from the page.

I am creating a PAGE and on this page i am going to have a huge list of links.

DOGS
bulldog
german shepard
etc..

The only way i want the posts to show up is when you are on the page and click the link to it.

Hope this makes some sense as I am starting to confuse myself.
